Overview
Advanced transmitter technology with the new SITRANS P means:
- Limit monitoring by means of an event counter. This reports how often, how long and how large the pressure overshoot was - but also whether an error signal was issued, which gives you an overview of what has happened in the process
- The recording of measurement range violations using non-return values for minimum/maximum levels in the case of input pressure, sensor temperature and electronics temperature. These provide information about the state of the new SITRANS P, the process and the ambient temperature
- The maintenance timer, that reports the calibration time in order to guarantee maximum precision on a continuous basis
- A simulation function directly after the sensor which checks the transmitter electronics and the entire loop based on a defined value - in order to obtain important information: Are the transmitter electronics in order? At what pressure do the limits respond? Is the regulator circuit operating properly? Are all displays functioning?
- If the transmitter issues an error signal from the electronics or measuring cell the defective part can simply be exchanged on site - without recalibration.
