Description

Thanks to the inclusion of three different transducer pairs, the single channel SITRANS FUP1010 check metering kit for water and wastewater applications measures a wide range of liquids. This is made possible by the meter’s dual mode of operation which enables use of transit time as well as Doppler flow measurement.
Transit time operation is the preferred mode for relatively homogeneous liquids whereas Doppler is the ideal measurement method for heavily aerated liquids or liquids with suspended solids.
The check kit comes in a sturdy rolling case with a telescope handle that holds all the equipment needed to conduct performance and verification tests including cables, two pairs of transit time and one pair of Doppler transducers, one IP67 weatherproof transmitter, a certificate of "Intrinsic Calibration", and more. As with all of the check metering kits, the range can easily by extended by purchasing additional mounting straps/chains.
Application examples include raw and portable water, raw sewage, effluent, fresh water, and temporary leak detection in large intake or distribution pipes.
Pair the SITRANS FUP1010 Water Check Metering Kit with the SITRANS F US Thickness Gauge to ensure precise flow measurement.

Benefits

  • Permits performance check and verification of any type or brand of flow meter
  • Accommodates shifting measurement conditions necessitated by presence of high aeration or suspended solids (dual mode)
  • Ensures higher accuracy by allowing two sets of transducers to be set up on one pipe and averaged (dual path)
  • Measures a wide variety of water applications
